Algorithm Developer

As an Algorithm Developer, you will play a vital role in the development of a tool that assists with the diagnosis of cancer by using ultrasound. Alongside meeting the scrutiny of regulatory requirements, your technical knowledge and contributions will help demonstrate and evolve the entire performance of the algorithm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of algorithms for cancer detection from 3D and 4D medical images.
• Creating software for (pre) processing of medical images.
• Developing algorithms for the processing of annotated data, i.e., the creation of ground truth data.
• (Statistical) analysis of overall algorithm performance.
• Contributing to technical and scientific publications.
• Assisting with the exploration of new modalities and applications.

Role Requirements:

• Strong mathematical background.
• Well-versed in Python.
• Familiar with scientific Python libraries, including, but not limited to, Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn.
• Good scientific/technical writing skills.
• The ability to contribute as a true team player.

The ideal profile will have expertise in areas such as medical imaging, signal processing, and/or machine learning.
