Intralogistics Manager

We are excited to be partnering with a very impressive global medical device company.

Due to the growth of the business, they have had a brand new, vital, very exciting opportunity that has come up for their team in Germany. The position is a Intralogistics Manager and is a permanent position.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will be an asset to the Logistics team. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.

Responsibilities:

Logistics & Material Flow

• Manage efficient internal material movement: goods receipt, transport, storage, and supply.
• Optimize intralogistics through process analysis and digital tools.
• Ensure warehouse organization and material availability aligned with production plans.

Inventory & Supply Coordination

• Coordinate closely with procurement and production to meet material demands.
• Conduct inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Monitor supply chains to prevent shortages.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Maintain quality standards in storage and material handling.
• Drive continuous improvement and analyze KPIs to optimize logistics processes.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

• Interface with production, purchasing, quality, and sales teams.
• Report on logistics performance and act as contact for external logistics partners.

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and support the warehouse team.
• Foster a results-driven, safe, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Degree or training in logistics, supply chain, or related field.

• Several years in intralogistics leadership, ideally in dental or medical tech.
• ERP (preferably SAP) and WMS experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in German; English and lean management knowledge are a plus.
