Rostock (preference) or Hamburg | On-site initially - Hybrid working after onboarding
I'm currently recruiting for a growing healthcare technology group looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 & IT Security Engineer to join their team. Following several recent acquisitions, the business is looking for someone to strengthen group-wide IT security, support new integrations and work closely with the Head of Group IT & Cybersecurity.
What will you be doing?
- Managing Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Intune.
- Strengthening identity and access security through Conditional Access, MFA and Zero Trust.
- Taking ownership of security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and security policies.
- Supporting hybrid infrastructure, including Active Directory, Hyper-V and VMware.
- Managing Microsoft 365 migrations and onboarding newly acquired businesses.
What are they looking for?
- Several years of hands-on Microsoft 365 experience.
- Strong IT security experience, including monitoring, incident response and security hardening.
- Knowledge of hybrid environments and Microsoft 365 migrations is beneficial.
- An IT-related qualification or apprenticeship.
- Native German and good written and spoken English are essential.
- Someone confident working independently and operating at a senior technical level.
- Rostock or Hamburg, Germany.
- On-site during onboarding, then hybrid working with at least three days per week in the office.
- Permanent contract, 30 days' annual leave, flexible hours and employer-supported pension.
- Direct collaboration with senior IT leadership and the opportunity to shape security across a growing international group.
If you're looking for a role with real responsibility and the chance to make an impact, I'd love to hear from you.
