We are excited to be partnering with a very impressive global medical device company.
Due to the growth of the business, they have had a brand new, vital, very exciting opportunity that has come up for their team in Germany. The position is a Supply Chain Compliance Manager and is a permanent position.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will be an asset to the Supply Chain team. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and executing qualification procedures for new suppliers, ensuring alignment with both internal quality standards and industry regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, MDR, FDA).
- Coordinating and conducting supplier audits, both on-site and remotely, while managing follow-up actions.
- Assessing supplier performance and initiating corrective measures to enhance quality standards.
- Maintaining and regularly updating supplier data within SAP systems.
- Overseeing regulatory compliance throughout the supply chain, ensuring all suppliers adhere to relevant laws and internal policies.
- Monitoring and documenting supplier adherence to regulatory frameworks, addressing any discrepancies as needed.
- Identifying potential supply chain risks and creating strategies to mitigate them.
- Supporting the creation and management of the Device Master Record (DMR) within SAP.
- Ensuring that all product-related documentation, such as specifications, test reports, and release protocols, are complete and up-to-date.
- Collaborating with teams in quality assurance, purchasing, and production to guarantee consistency and accuracy in DMR data management.
- Providing training sessions for both internal teams and suppliers on compliance-related matters.
- Offering expert guidance to departments on the practical implementation of regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Must have Supply Chain experience- minimum 4 years experience
- Experience in qualifying suppliers and carrying out supplier audits
- Confident using MS Office, ERP and SAP are advantageous
