Member of Technical Staff, World Models

h3About Baseline Robotics /h3 /brpOpen source revolutionised how we write software, but its impact on robotics stays limited due to expensive hardware accessible only to well-funded labs. We run that hardware as shared infrastructure for the broader community, billed only for active station time. For a given task, policies are evaluated under similar conditions, giving researchers common ground for fair comparisons. /p /brpIn this role you will /p /brul /brliTrain action-conditioned world models on camera and sensor data. /li /brliUse model rollouts for planning and post-training reference policies. /li /brliFind where model predictions differ from the real stations, and why. /li /br /ul /brpWhat we hope you'll bring /p /brul /brliExperience training world models, video prediction, or latent dynamics models on real data. /li /brliKnowledge of model-based reinforcement learning, planning, and sequence modelling. /li /brliPublications in top machine learning or robotics venues, or equivalent experience. /li /br /ul /brh3Details /h3 /brul /brliLocation: Zurich, Switzerland, on-site 5 days a week. /li /brliTotal compensation: CHF 120,000 - 160,000. /li /brliEvery full-time hire receives stock options as part of the stated total compensation. /li /br /ul /brpDeadline to apply: None.
