WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT As Process Manager, you will: Supervise a team of 6-8 people in the fields of process chemistry and quality. Investigate EHS events and implement preventive/corrective measures, focusing on process safety. Manage process deviations, identify optimization levers, and define concrete solutions. Lead process optimization initiatives as the OpEx (Operational Excellence) manager for the Monthey site. Develop and document manufacturing processes, process safety concepts, and the plant’s environmental guidelines. Define, collect, and monitor process performance indicators (KPIs), such as energy efficiency. Develop operational training concepts and oversee their implementation. Control and advance lean management practices. Collaborate within the divisions\’s process manager community and act as an expert for strategic marketing of optical brighteners. Serve as Project Operation Manager for investment and replacement projects. Participate as a member of the Monthey operations management team and the ORGRA management team (emergency response). WHAT YOU OFFER You hold a Master’s or PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering and have at least 10 years of experience as a production or process engineer. You have excellent command of French and English and/or German (spoken and written). You have a strong knowledge of EHS guidelines for chemical processes and expertise in risk analysis. You demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to lead multi-technology teams. You are capable of managing complex issues and experience in process operation management for large-scale projects.
