In the Coatings Division, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions - from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. Working in global teams, we promote innovation, design and new applications in order to meet our partners' needs. This portfolio is complemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enables new applications with innovative surfaces.
Responsibilities
The Global Branding & Communications team under Global Marketing is committed to deliver sustainable and digitally-focused branding and communications strategies for the long-term growth of our Automotive Refinish brands. In your new role as "Global Communications Manager", you will drive the overall integrated marketing communications strategies on a global, regional, and local level with maximum impact and engagement. You manage a team of 4 global and regional marketing communication specialists and foster great company culture as well as engagement with internal communications. As the editor and owner of the global editorial calendar, you guide the creation of visual and verbal content for the business unit from conception up until execution. You monitor trends, identify risks as well as opportunities and integrate your expert knowledge into a strategic communications plan fit for all internal and external stakeholders. You manage and initiate trainings as well as briefings and launch events for key campaigns, which you accompany from conception to design. Furthermore, you lead a team of global communication specialists, and will play a lead role to guide and support the regional and local brand and communications communities.
Qualifications
- University degree in Marketing or Communications (with major in communications or branding)
- 8+ years of commercial experience both in house and ideally with a communication agency
- Experience in digital marketing
- Be proficient in multiple forms of communications technologies and approaches
- Able to work in a team as well as possess strong leadership skills to directly manage a small team
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German
