WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
At BASF, within the Liquid Chromatography, Bioanalysis, and Chemometrics group, you will join a dedicated and highly skilled team. You will be part of an enthusiastic, interdisciplinary global group of experts in our Analytical and Material Science Department, actively contributing to the BASF innovation process aimed at fostering a sustainable future.
- You will be engaged in a specialized laboratory team that focuses on liquid chromatography (LC) and liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-(HR)MS) applications.
- Furthermore, you establish analytical solutions to develop robust and reliable quantitative LC and/or LC-MS methods including data handling as well as data processing.
- You work with customers, build strong relationships and contribute to innovation projects and collaboration opportunities.
- Last but not least, you participate in multidisciplinary projects across diverse fields, leveraging your expertise in LC and/or LC-MS as well as synergies within the analytical method Verbund.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- PhD in chemistry, physics, analytics, or a comparable discipline with a focus on liquid chromatography and/or (high-resolution) mass spectrometry quantification workflows.
- Hands-on experience in operating LC, LC-MS & LC-HRMS systems and experience in handling, processing, and analyzing big data sets as well as good knowledge in organic chemistry are beneficial.
- Enjoyment for understanding complex problems and taking initiative to develop new and creative approaches to solve them.
- Effective communication with various scientific disciplines and partners in German and/or English.
