In Global Business Services, we support BASF’s divisions with a cross-functional network and offer modern solutions tailored to the needs of the business. As a specialized service unit, we ensure a high level of customer orientation, and we design our services to be cooperative, efficient, and future-oriented.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In our unit, we are responsible for the proper customs clearance of ordered raw materials, merchandise, and technical goods.
- You supervise the delivery and clearance of import shipments from non-EU countries into free circulation for all modes of transport.
- In addition to checking customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers, you will also communicate with internal business units, suppliers, dispatchers, and warehouse employees.
- You prepare all customs-relevant documents and support internal and external audits.
- Furthermore, you give customs advice and support the divisions and group companies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Vocational training
- First professional experience in the areas of foreign trade as well as import and export
- Standard IT applications and initial SAP knowledge
- User knowledge of SAP GTS
- Fluent oral and written communication in German and English
