Role Summary

We are seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to drive process improvement, automation, and standardization across finance and procurement operations in Germany.

You will lead transformation initiatives that enhance reporting quality, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency while supporting scalable, audit‑ready processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation and process improvement initiatives across Record‑to‑Report (R2R) and Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P).
• Improve statutory reporting processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and HGB requirements.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Strengthen finance and procurement controls, governance, and audit readiness.
• Optimize P2P processes, including invoice management, approvals, vendor governance, and reconciliations.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Shared Services teams to deliver sustainable change.
• Drive continuous improvement and track measurable business benefits.
• Leverage SAP, BPC, and Business Warehouse to enhance reporting and analytics.
• What You’ll Bring
• Proven experience delivering finance transformation and process optimisation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of R2R, P2P, and statutory reporting processes.
• Experience working with IFRS, HGB, and internal control frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP, BPC, and Business Warehouse.
• Fluent German and English.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and project delivery skills.
• Experience in a Big Four or similar consulting/audit environment is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification or Bilanzbuchhalter certification is an advantage.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance transformation, audit, advisory, or process improvement.
