At our site near Bern, we are expanding our production capacity for the manufacture of new vaccines and reaching another milestone in the expansion of a new facility and the introduction of innovative ways of working.

What you can expect In this responsible role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our microbiology laboratory and make a key contribution to maintaining the highest quality standards. Your main responsibilities include:
Maintain laboratory organization, hygiene and sterilization processes, including glassware cleaning and autoclaving
Manage laboratory waste streams and coordinate laboratory garment services (collection, exchange and distribution of clean lab coats)
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, archiving and structured filing systems
Oversee inventory management, Kanban processes, demand‑based ordering and material registration in LIMS
Manage storage, labeling and system‑based removal of released, consumed or expired materials
Support laboratory operations through water sampling, LIMS registration and preparation of culture media for microbiological analyses
Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, qualification and calibration activities to ensure laboratory readiness
About you
Initial experience in a laboratory environment or a comparable role; experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
Careful, structured and reliable working style with strong attention to detail
Strong awareness of quality and hygiene standards
Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accountability
Team‑oriented, proactive and hands‑on mindset with a willingness to support diverse laboratory activities
Confident use of IT systems; experience with LIMS is considered a plus
Fluent German skills, both written and spoken; English language skills are an advantage
