Your Role
We are evolving from traditional analytics to advanced AI engineering and are looking for a strong software engineer to help build and scale production‑ready AI applications across the Group.
Our AI platform is built around a central Knowledge Graph and already powers use cases such as chat, voice, smart routing and knowledge discovery across multiple European markets. You will play a key role in turning AI prototypes into reliable, scalable and user‑facing applications.
This is a hands‑on software engineering role with a strong focus on backend development, APIs, AI‑backed services and production readiness. The role is ideal for a builder who enjoys working across the stack—from Python/FastAPI services and data pipelines to selected React‑based user interfaces.
Your Responsibilities
Build and scale AI‑backed applications using Python and FastAPI.
Design and maintain APIs that expose AI, retrieval and graph capabilities to internal applications.
Optimize RAG / GraphRAG pipelines for high‑quality retrieval, context generation and reliable AI outputs.
Develop and maintain graph‑based systems using technologies such as Neo4j, NetworkX or similar.
Turn prototypes and experimental Python code into robust, maintainable and production‑ready software.
Build or improve internal user interfaces with React and, where useful, Streamlit.
Work on core AI infrastructure, including routing, data quality, monitoring and deployment.
Integrate AI services with structured data platforms such as Snowflake.
Support CI/CD and deployment workflows using GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes and modern engineering practices.
Collaborate with data, business and technology teams to make AI solutions usable for real users.
Your Profile
Strong software engineering background with focus on backend development.
Excellent Python skills and experience with API development, ideally with FastAPI.
Good understanding of software design, testing, maintainable code and production systems.
Experience working with databases, SQL or data‑backed applications.
Experience or strong interest in applied AI systems, such as RAG, LLMs, knowledge graphs or AI‑powered applications.
Familiarity with graph technologies, such as Neo4j, NetworkX or similar, is a plus.
Basic frontend experience with React or willingness to work on user‑facing interfaces.
Understanding of CI/CD and modern development workflows.
Pragmatic, product‑oriented mindset and willingness to work on end‑to‑end solutions.
Interest in building reliable AI applications rather than purely experimental models or ad‑hoc analysis.
