Web Developer – Full Stack (f/m/d)
for the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact website.
The Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact is a collaboration between the Bavarian state government and its partners, including the Bavarian Business Association, the Bavarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Bavarian Association of Skilled Crafts. It aims to develop solutions for outstanding environmental and sustainability issues. The State Office for the Environment presents support services and environmental protection measures for small and medium-sized companies from various sectors on the joint online platform.
As a web developer (m/f/d), you will work with experienced colleagues in the
web team of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment. There we focus on the
optimized technology stack with a static site generator. The Environment and Climate Pact also uses a content management system (CMS) (in-house development).
Your tasks
- Redesign of the website „Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern“, consisting of „Umwelt- und Klimapakt“, „Infozentrum Umwelt-Wirtschaft“ (IZU), and „Ressourcen-effizienz-Zentrum Bayern“ (REZ)
- Concept for replacing the outdated CMS with a future-proof CMS
- Migration to the web team’s standard technology stack
- New development of the „Climate-conscious company service center“, „Water efficiency tool“, and „Transformation of sustainable companies“ tools
Our requirements for you
- University degree (Dipl. FH / Bachelor) in the field of web development, computer science, media informatics, new media, or another comparable field suitable for the tasks at hand
- Professional experience as a webmaster, in web development, or content management
- Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and programming skills in JavaScript and PHP
- Knowledge of Bootstrap and jQuery, accessibility of online offers as well as online communication of authorities and in the environmental sector desirable
- Very high willingness to learn as well as good communication and teamwork skills
- Very strong independence, decision-making skills, and ability to identify and solve problems
- Good written and oral communication skills in German (level B2 CEFR)
