About the role
We are looking for a (Junior) Manager Group Accounting (m/f/d) to support our team. The (Junior) Group Accounting Manager plays an important role in ensuring the financial reporting accuracy for a company with multiple subsidiaries, segments, and international operations in the renewable energies industry. You will work with colleagues across the world in a role that goes beyond traditional accounting tasks.
What you will do

You assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly group reportings as well as the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS

You support the reporting subsidiaries in all matters relating to reporting and accounting in accordance with IFRS

You are the contact person for internal departments and for auditors as part of the annual audit of the consolidated financial statements

You analyze and prepare the figures for external and internal reporting

You support the master data maintenance in SAP-BO FC and other systems with a focus on the preparation for consolidation (e.g. scope of consolidation), as well as participation in the further development of the financial closing process in SAP-BO FC and in other digitalization projects

You support the further development of the Group accounting guidelines
What you’ll need to succeed

Successfully completed business studies, preferably specializing in accounting, controlling, or auditing

Solid knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS, HGB and consolidation and interest in working with consolidation tools (SAP-BO FC)

Strong team spirit as well as problem-solving skills and good communication skills

Analytical understanding and an independent, structured way of working, with high quality standards for your own work

Professional experience in auditing or group accounting, e.g., a previous internship, is desirable

Business fluent in German and English
