We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) in Tübingen to develop and lead the Supply Chain Management function at our BayWa r.e. novotegra GmbH.

And this is how you protect the world we live in

• Analyse the current supply chain process and organization, understand business and customer requirements, identify painpoints and develop a Supply Chain Strategy
• Define requirements to develop the organization, process and system landscape to develop towards target strategy
• Active change management and lead the transformation
• Build and lead novotegra supply chain team
• Own Sales & Operations Planning Process and reporting to Management
• Demand planning in alignment with local Solar Trade Entities (internal sister companies)
• Supply and Inventory planning in close collaboration with novotegra Procurement
• Optimize inventory quality and health across novotegra and Solar Trade’s end to end supply chain
• Coordinate smooth New Product Introductions, Phase In and Phase Out management with Product Management, Procurement and Sales
• Continuously develop and optimize warehouse network layout, capacities, cost and service performance
• Develop and own Supply Chain KPI’s
• Support novotegra management for supply chain scenario planning as basis for budget planning

Who we are looking forward to

• University degree in business administration, supply chain or logistics management
• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management or operational excellence
• Solid financial understanding related to supply chain management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in German and English
• Experienced in working in an international and complex organization
• Experience within a wholesale or distribution company or PV industry would be a plus
• Knowledge of MS Power BI and Supply Chain Planning tools would be beneficial
• Technically and digitally inclined
• Advanced project management, collaboration, and communications skills
• Strong analytical skills, capability to work with large and complex data structures and ability to develop and use KPI’s for data driven decision making
• A customer-oriented mindset with a self-starter attitude
