About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SAP MDG to design, implement, and optimize solutions within the Business Partner (BP) , Finance , and Materials Management (MM) modules. You will work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP MDG solutions while supporting ongoing implementations, process optimizations, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master Data Governance Expertise:
Collaborate with business users to understand master data governance requirements across BP , Finance , and MM modules, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Solution Design & Configuration:
Lead the design and configuration of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring that they meet business needs and are optimized for future scalability. - Implementation & Project Leadership:
Actively lead and participate in SAP MDG implementation projects including project planning, requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and go-live support. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MDG solutions with other SAP and non-SAP systems. - Training & Support:
Conduct training sessions and create user-friendly training materials for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of SAP MDG functionality across the organization. - Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting:
Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve SAP MDG issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as necessary. - Technology & Process Optimization:
Stay current with industry trends, SAP MDG technology, and new capabilities of SAP MDG on S/4 HANA to drive continuous improvements in master data management practices. - Transformation Projects:
Support the SAP MDG 9.2 transformation to SAP MDG on S/4 HANA , integrating new technologies and optimizing processes within SAP and non-SAP environments. - Additional Projects & Support:
Contribute to projects such as the rollout of the master data management system, conducting quality analyses, and optimizing workflows across the organization.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG implementation projects, specifically focusing on BP , Finance , and MM modules.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP MDG functionalities , data models, and integration points for BP , Finance , and MM . Expertise in SAP MDG workflows , data models, and user interface customizations. In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP modules such as FI , CO , MM , SD , and PP . Experience in Brownfield Implementation projects.
- Certifications: SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Master Data Governance. SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP MDG Fiori Application Developer (preferred)
- Industry Experience: Experience in industries such as Pharma , Retail , or Consumer Goods , with a strong understanding of business processes, particularly in manufacturing and supply chain management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex issues and providing timely solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and contributing effectively to large-scale projects.
- Tools & Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems .
