To strengthen the Technology and Development department in the Field Application Management division at the Waldshut-Tiengen site, we are looking for a

Technical Writer | Low and Medium Voltage (m/f/d)

As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with departments such as T&E, Product Management, Sales, Purchasing, Production and Quality to translate complex products into clear, understandable documentation. You will ensure that installers in the field understand the necessary steps to create durable and reliable connections. In this role, you will take responsibility and work independently, liaising directly with your line manager as the point of contact for all documentation issues.

• Development and creation of detailed assembly instructions for connection and termination sets in the low and medium voltage range
• Preparation of technical content in comprehensible instructions for various target groups
• Ensuring compliance with industry-specific norms, regulations and safety standards in all documents created
• Revising and updating existing installation instructions in line with new product developments or changes to standards
• Supporting the sales and customer service team with technical inquiries and training courses

Your profile

• Completed studies in the field of technical documentation or a comparable career (electrical engineering background and understanding is an advantage)
• Experience in the creation of technical documentation; ideally in the field of electrical connection and termination set
• Experience in using documentation software and graphic tools (e.g. SMC (ec-systems), AUTOCAD, Adobe InDesign)
• Sound knowledge of low and medium voltage technology and the relevant standards and regulations (e.g. DIN, IEC)
• Very good knowledge of German and English
