Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee planning and execution of programs, ensuring timelines and client financial controls
- Provide guidance on best practices, compliance, and cost savings for events
- Create and communicate budgets throughout planning with reconciled final budgets
- Manage supplier negotiations and relationships to ensure high service levels
- Conduct venue research, preliminary budgeting, and manage the e-RFP process
- Track attendee attrition, registrations, and hotel communications (rooms, cancellations)
- Build client websites for information collection and registration while ensuring compliance
- Meet deadlines for reporting, audits, and ensure supplier billing compliance
- Assist in developing SOPs and best practices to improve operations across regions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Sound experience in meeting/program planning
- Experience on a Life Sciences client
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- German and English proficient in both oral and written communications
- Travel industry and destination knowledge
- Up to 25% travel may be required
- Ability to establish strong partnerships with clients, prospects, vendors and peers
- Independent and adaptable work style
- Willingness to travel during peak times for onsite management
- Cvent (experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Technology management for client websites (information collection and registration)
