BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is seeking a full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues.
- Communicate promptly on issue status and resolution.
- Maintain ticket updates for reported incidents.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010.
- Support Cisco Jabber and basic Mac OS support for Apple PC users.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
- Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Use diagnostic tools for network and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Have broad IT knowledge including networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
- Work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid work permit.
- Extensive IT and computer knowledge.
- Several years of professional support experience and solution evaluation.
- Proficiency in German at B1 level.
