This role is at its heart.About the roleYou will modernize our hybrid infrastructure, extending our Microsoft 365 and Azure footprint while building on a robust on-premises foundation. Infrastructure will be delivered as code, with security and compliance embedded in every pipeline, so that regulatory and audit requirements are met by design. You will also help us explore how AI can strengthen IT operations.This is a hands‑on position for an expert who combines deep infrastructure knowledge with an automation mindset, and who safeguards the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the Bank's information systems at all times.Key responsibilitiesBuild the cloud and automation platformExtend and optimize our Microsoft 365 and Azure footprint, and progressively migrate on‑premises workloads toward Azure environment.Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) so environments are repeatable, auditable and fast.Design and run CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).Embed security and compliance checks into pipelines and IaC, so FINMA and audit requirements are enforced by design.Pilot AI‑assisted operations (AIOps) for monitoring, anomaly detection and incident response.Run and evolve our core infrastructureOperate and optimise our hybrid platforms: Windows Server (2016–2025), VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyperconverged Systems and the Omnissa Horizon VDI environment.Maintain networking and storage foundations (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SAN/NAS, Clusters) and backup services and software.Safeguard the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the bank's information systems across Head Office and our branches abroad.Apply vulnerability patches within the bank's SLAs.Keep it documented, resilient and supportedMaintain procedures, technical documentation and plans.Take part in operational resilience stress tests.Act as second‑level escalation point for internal users.Your profileDegree in IT Engineering or equivalent8+ years in systems/infrastructure engineering, ideally in a Swiss bank or another regulated environmentCertifications and proven experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 (identity, networking, governance), Infrastructure as Code (Ansiblr, Terraform, etc.) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI) & Docker and Kubernetes in production or near‑production environments.Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python or Bash)Solid on‑premises foundation: Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere 8+Understanding of security, risk management and business continuity in financial services, with a DevSecOps mindsetStructured, service‑oriented approach, problem‑solving mindset; ITIL knowledge a plusFluent in French and EnglishSwiss residency mandatory.What we offerA dynamic and multicultural work environment.An inclusive culture where empowerment and creativity are encouraged.A competitive compensation package.Work from home (one day per week)Response timeframePlease consider that your application was not selected for this position if you do not receive a response from us within three weeks.
