The Sales Consultant – Lab Automation is responsible for selling laboratory automation solutions for microbiological laboratories within the Northeast Germany market, targeting acute care and private laboratory segments.
This position offers flexibility to work full-time or part-time, based on individual and company needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and annual budgets aligned with company policies.
- Identify new business opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Account Management teams.
- Enhance existing customer automation levels through additional equipment placements.
- Advise customers on optimal solutions, conducting workflow analyses and developing business cases.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and customer visits across Europe.
- Collaborate with various internal teams including application, project management, and technical service.
- Travel within the territory and Europe for training and client engagements.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in natural sciences (preferably microbiology) with 3-5 years of experience in capital goods sales and strategic sales. Strong communication skills and experience negotiating with executives are essential.
Additional Requirements
- Proven business development skills and a high-performance track record.
- Passion for customer relationship management.
- Experience with Salesforce.com and Power BI is advantageous.
- Effective communication across diverse disciplines.
- Ability to work in multifunctional teams and a challenging environment.
- Knowledge of strategic selling methodologies, e.g., Miller Heiman.
- Fluent in German and English.
