Responsibilities
- You are responsible for leading local and global (IT) projects, primarily in the context of data center operations, SAP Application Management Services, as well as system provisioning and migrations of IT customer landscapes.
- When required, you will also take on the management of internal projects.
- You are responsible for developing and aligning the technical and scheduling approach with customers and internal departments, as well as, if necessary, with the overarching project management.
- You are accountable for comprehensive project management, including budget, effort, deliverables, quality, and the project timeline.
- Additionally, guiding, advising, and supporting project team members is part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications
- A completed degree in computer science, an IT‑related field, a natural or humanities discipline, or a comparable qualification forms the basis of your expertise.
- You have several years of professional experience in managing IT projects, ideally with SAP involvement (e.g. SAP migrations or projects in a data center environment), cloud environment, data migration and improvement initiatives projects.
- Planning and managing an SAP AMS and applications transition across the relevant phases, as well as creating the corresponding documentation, is nothing new to you.
- You bring broad IT knowledge, preferably practical experience in IaaS or SAP operations. Additionally, you hold a certification in a project management methodology, preferably from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Demonstrate excellent business acumen, strategic/tactical value realisation, and a problem‑solving skill set.
- You have business‑fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Methodological flexibility and the willingness to explore new topics characterize you. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator with a high level of service and customer orientation. High social competence and a pronounced team‑player mentality round off your profile.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 10 %) for on‑site customer assignments is a given for you.
