ABOUT THE ROLE

BEAT81 is currently operating 7 Studios in Munich and we are planning to open more Indoor Cycling and HIIT studios in 2025.

With the expansion of our operations in Munich, we are looking for a service-oriented, friendly and hands-on Studio Manager with a passion for fitness (all genders) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating a high-performing Front-of-House (FOH) team to deliver exceptional hospitality and maintain the highest BEAT81 studio standards.

Moreover, you will oversee a Double Studio (HIIT & RIDE) in Munich and a team of 15-20 FOH employees (part-time/working students). Be a key contributor to creating an impeccable studio, workout and hospitality experience for our customers by collaborating closely with our Munich City Operations Team and applying your exceptional people management, training and hospitality skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a role model for other team members by providing high-level customer service and exceptional hospitality to BEAT81 customers (75% of the job is based in our studios; this is not an office job!).
• Be the first point of contact for our BEAT81 customers, offering a friendly welcome and collaborating with the coaches to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Identify and convert the best FOH talent to strengthen your team, driving both exceptional service and the highest studio standards at BEAT81.
• Train and manage your FOH team to ensure high-level customer service at all times.
• Handle daily studio and administrative tasks such as inventory, orders and shift planning.
• Ensure that the studios look clean and tidy at all times and that everything is functioning smoothly for coaches and customers.
• Maintain a positive mindset and take initiative to ensure smooth operations and customer happiness.

YOUR PROFILE

• Must have 3-5 years customer service experience, preferably in a leadership position, with the ability to remain calm under pressure while offering excellent customer service.
• Must be highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in the moment – every day is different at BEAT81.
• Attention to detail is a must; you don’t let important details slip through the cracks.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities.
• Must speak English fluently and ideally C1 or B2 German proficiency.
• Must have a positive, can-do attitude, and are not afraid to get hands-on, engaging in daily studio tasks.
• Able to work a non-traditional schedule (must have weekend availability and some early morning, midday and late evening availability) – Our studios operate 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
