Seamstress (M/F) Workplace : Beau-Rivage Palace Start date : 01-09-2026 Contract type : Fixed-Term Contract
Responsibilities
- Carry out all types of sewing work (alterations, adjustments, repairs) on household linen, uniforms and various hotel textiles.
- Create bespoke textile items according to the palace's needs.
- Ensure the finishing and aesthetic quality of seams in accordance with the standards of a 5-star establishment.
- Check the condition of linen and fabrics, diagnose necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, laundry and maintenance departments.
- Manage the sewing workshop: machines, tools, supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Respect the confidentiality and discretion required in a high-end clientele context.
Profile sought
- Excellent skills in hand and machine sewing, with great attention to detail.
- Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in luxury hospitality.
- Knowledge of delicate fabrics and noble materials (silk, linen, velvet, etc.).
- Speed, precision, autonomy in work execution.
- Neat appearance and professional attitude.
- Absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Fluency in French; English is a plus.
