System & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client based in Fribourg, we are looking for a System & Security Engineer (m/f/d) responsible for contributing to vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and improving security processes for system environments, workstations, private cloud, and containerised environments.
Your mission
- Contribute to the implementation, development, and monitoring of vulnerability management processes on servers, workstations, and IT assets. - Analyse, qualify, and prioritise identified vulnerabilities based on their criticality, risk exposure, and operational context. - Ensure follow-up of remediation plans until closure, including managing exceptions and accepted residual risks. - Participate in maintaining the operational condition of the Tenable scanning platform, improving scanning rules, and associated documentation. - Support Infrastructure, Application, and cloud/containerisation project teams in understanding vulnerabilities, defining corrective actions, and implementing appropriate processes.
Your profile
- IT education at CFC, Bachelor level or equivalent, with 3 to 5 years of experience in vulnerability management or system security. - Strong skills in vulnerability analysis, technical risk prioritisation, remediation tracking, and hardening of Windows Server and workstation environments. - Practical experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and good knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools, ideally Tenable. - Knowledge of private cloud and containerised environments, especially regarding images, registries, workloads, and associated security principles. - Fluency in French, good understanding of technical English, residence in Fribourg or surrounding areas.
