Treasury Manager mfd

The Treasury Manager reports to and is led by the Head of Group Accounting and Treasury (HGAT), who in turn reports to the Group\’s CFO. The Treasury Manager is responsible for Beckers Group\’s treasury and cash management activities within the Finance department. The successful candidate will be part of the Beckers Finance team and will collaborate with colleagues from Beckers\‘ parent company Lindngruppen as well as external banks.

The position is based at our Head Office in Berlin, Germany, which currently employs approximately 25 people across various group functions.

About the position :

As Treasury Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the Beckers Group\’s treasury operations.

The role primarily involves controlling and supporting liquidity management for Group entities and engaging with banks and other financial institutions to provide credit facilities, financial instruments, and cash management solutions.

Your responsibilities and deliverables :

Role and responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the treasury function within Beckers, including cash management, financing, financial risk management, and banking issues.
• Support the CFO and HGAT in developing the Group\’s treasury operations.
• Provide internal advice and guidance on treasury-related issues and serve as the Group\’s treasury expert.
• Optimize financial results and the balance sheet within the framework of Beckers\‘ business concept, strategy, and financial policy.

Specific tasks :

• Treasury and cash management:

Cash pool reporting and monitoring

• Maintain relationships with global banking partners, ensuring alignment on international treasury and financing matters at the group level.
• Manage user access roles and permissions for the Cash Pool banking solution.
• Administer and monitor internal financing.
• Manage the flow of dividends within the Group and towards Beckers\‘ parent company Lindngruppen.
• Generate and analyze liquidity reports monthly, including forecasts.
• Assess financing needs of group entities, define appropriate financing solutions, and supervise related administrative tasks.
• Coordinate external financing for group entities.
• Support and coordinate currency hedging transactions and netting activities.
• Administer and report on bank guarantees.
• Perform other tasks within the finance department.

Contribute to the group accounts consolidation process in IFRS, participate in internal projects, and support the HQ office expenditure approval and payment processes.

Qualifications :

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Finance, with exposure to Treasury and Accounting.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Experience working in matrix organizations, preferably within mid-sized, highly international groups.
