Job Description
At the Global Legal Team we are supporting the Beckers Group entities in the areas of Compliance, Contract Drafting, Group Insurance and Claims Management.
As part of the Global Legal Team consisting of the General Counsel and a Legal Counsel, you will work with us in our headquarters in Berlin. The duration of the contract is minimum 1 year (fixed term) and +/- 20 hours per week with the possibility to extend the contract. Starting date – as soon as possible.
Main tasks:
As part of the day-to-day business activities, you will support the Global Legal Function with various tasks focusing on:
- Management and improvement of the compliance program including trainings, policies, procedures etc.
- Review and draft of commercial contracts (for example sales- and supply agreement, NDAs etc.)
- Creating new and improving existing contract templates
- Conducting legal research
- Helping to review various legal translations
Qualifications
Your Profile:
- You are a law student in the 4th+ semester.
- Well-founded IT skills
- Fluent in English (basic German, preferably other languages)
- You are able to work on site in our global office in Berlin
- You are a team player with good communication skills, initiative and self-confidence.
- Ideally, you have already gained some experience abroad and/or through work placements.
