Overview
As Legal Counsel at BeOne Medicines, you will provide pivotal legal support across German and international work streams, shaping strategic decisions. You will collaborate with multiple departments to safeguard regulatory and commercial interests in oncology. You’ll navigate contracts, advertising and pharmaceutical law, and help ensure compliance and ethical conduct. This role offers exposure to cross-border projects and a fast-paced, growth-focused environment where your legal expertise directly supports patient access to innovative therapies.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with service providers, physicians, and healthcare organizations
- Advising on advertising, competition law disputes, and pharmaceutical advertising requirements
- Handling labor law matters including works agreements and HR support
- Ensuring compliance via anti-corruption reviews of collaborations with physicians and healthcare entities
- Applying competition/antitrust law knowledge to relevant business matters
- Supporting market access through rebate and reimbursement negotiations
- Representing BeOne in legal disputes before national courts
- Coordinating with external counsel and managing legal trainings for colleagues
- Participating in industry associations and dialogues with public institutions
- Travel for business across Germany and internationally (up to 15%)
- Maintaining high ethical standards and integrity in all dealings
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Proven expertise in one or more listed legal areas with willingness to expand knowledge
- +7 years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Fluent in German and English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
