Product Owner (m/f/d) Generative AI
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Develop generative AI capabilities in cloud and on-prem platform software and collaborate across engineering groups to maximize the use of common emerging platform technologies, conventions and technological building blocks
- Participate in code review and technical design discussion
- Be a subject matter expert in public cloud and on-prem based platforms and edge-to-cloud distributed systems
- Craft project status reporting and deliver executive briefings to update senior leaders and stakeholders
- Understand product use-cases and communicate with local and remote engineering teams across functions and with other stakeholders from advance development, product management, solution design and technical support; drive engineering initiatives, introduce and maintain agile SDLC best practices in the team
- Develop strong working relationships with cross functional teams to best understand and deliver on business goals and priorities
What you will bring:
- Education – MSc or PhD in Computer Science or comparable, university degree in AI/ML related subjects is a plus
- Experience – 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years in a similar role as PO
- Knowledge & skills – Proficient in agile methodologies with hands-on experience in Scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and continuous delivery; profound understanding of machine learning and AI in production, cloud computing and operations, edge-to-cloud software platforms, cybersecurity & compliance (ideally IEC 62443-4-1), ethical AI, MLOps, probabilistic testing as well as, ideally, experience in data engineering and network management systems
- Personality – Strong communicator, collaborative team player, technically fluent, highly organized, adaptable, proactive, and skilled at cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
- Language proficiency – Fluency in English and, ideally, German
