Head of Enterprise Architecture Summary In this role, you take on a key leadership position within our global IT organization and are part of the IT Leadership Team (ITLT). You are responsible for building and shaping Belimo's Enterprise Architecture (EA) practice, ensuring that our IT landscape evolves in line with business needs and strategic priorities. Working at the intersection of business and IT, you drive alignment, enable scalability, and contribute directly to the success of our OneIT vision.
What You’ll Do
Lead and further develop Belimo's global Enterprise Architecture (EA) function, including team leadership and capability building.
Build and establish a scalable EA practice with clear governance, frameworks, and standards across the organization.
Define and drive the long-term roadmap for applications, platforms, and technologies aligned with business priorities.
Ensure end-to-end architecture consistency, integration, and transparency across the IT landscape.
Act as a key interface between business and IT, translating business needs into sustainable architectural solutions to optimally support business capabilities and processes through IT.
Shape and influence the overall IT strategy as part of the global IT leadership team (ITLT).
Establish and govern enterprise-wide architecture principles, including security-by-design and resilience-by-design.
Advise and support strategic programs, projects, and initiatives, ensuring strong architectural alignment and execution quality.
Who You Are
University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or a comparable strategic IT leadership role.
Proven experience in building and evolving IT architectures in complex, international environments.
Strong understanding of application landscapes, integration, and SAP-based environments.
Experience with architecture frameworks and governance models.
Strategic thinker with a structured and pragmatic approach.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
