As part of our Research Digital Applications team, you will explore how data, machine learning, and cloud technologies can create measurable value for customers across the HVAC ecosystem. /p pWe are looking for a Data Scientist who is equally passionate about both data and algorithms as well as their impact on real-world applications. Someone who enjoys diving deep into data and developing data-driven solutions but who is also curious about HVAC systems, building automation, customer challenges, and the business impact of technology. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop data-driven solutions that address real customer challenges in HVAC applications. /li liAnalyze large-scale operational, device, and application data to generate actionable insights. /li liDesign, develop, and evaluate machine learning models and data analytics solutions. /li liBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products. /li liCollaborate with software engineers, HVAC application experts, and product teams to bring ideas from research into practical solutions. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve commissioning, operation, diagnostics, maintenance, and energy efficiency through data. /li liEvaluate emerging technologies and methodologies in data science, machine learning, and cloud platforms. /li liPrototype, validate, and demonstrate new concepts that can create future customer value and business opportunities. /li /ul h3Required Expertise /h3 ul liMaster's degree or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. /li liStrong background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis. /li liExperience with data engineering concepts, data pipelines, and modern data platforms. /li liProficiency in Python and common data science libraries and frameworks. /li liExperience working with cloud-based data platforms, familiarity with Azure, Databricks, Spark, or similar technologies is a strong advantage. /li liUnderstanding of MLOps, model deployment, and production data workflows is beneficial. /li liAbility to work independently and drive ideas from concept to prototype. /li liFluent business English (written and spoken). /li /ul h3People at Belimo /h3 pSmart buildings start with dedicated people.
