Overview
In this role you will own the end-to-end SAP Variant Configuration architecture, shaping Belimo’s global configuration landscape. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external partners to design scalable, high-performing configuration solutions across SAP, CPQ, and PLM. You’ll enable innovative product offering strategies while ensuring top data quality and seamless integration of configuration, pricing, and master data. This position offers the opportunity to impact Belimo’s global IT architecture and drive value through advanced VC capabilities.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with stakeholders
- Own end-to-end VC solution architecture across SAP, CPQ, PLM, and connected platforms
- Design and guide integrated configuration solutions ensuring flow of configuration, pricing, and master data
- Build and maintain SAP LO-VC models (high-level configuration)
- Analyze requirements beyond standard VC modeling and define specs for enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams in a global IT environment
- Manage external partners and modelers to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Evaluate new technologies in configuration and CPQ and assess value for Belimo
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable qualification
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented mindset with continuous improvement focus
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP LO-VC, including material variant concepts
- Experience designing/supporting landscapes where SAP LO-VC integrates with external configuration engines
- Deep expertise in SAP ERP logistics processes and VC-related integration scenarios
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking for scalable solutions
- Experience with SAP VCP/CPS, CPQ solutions, SAP Commerce (Hybris), PLM environments (Siemens Teamcenter), or ABAP development (asset)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across global teams; fluent in English; German an advantage; legally authorized to work in Switzerland
