In this role, you are responsible for the technical and application‑related content for Belimo’s global sensors and meters portfolio. Your mission is clear: to prepare complex HVAC and building automation topics in a technically sound, precise, and easy‑to‑understand way, and to position Belimo as a leading expert in the market. You work closely with technology, applications, and product management, developing high‑quality content such as white papers, application notes, and technical articles that are used across various marketing communication channels. Your target audience includes both existing and potential customers in the field of sensors for building automation, in particular system integrators, HVAC consultants, OEMs, and installers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain technically sound application and product content.
- Take ownership of the concept, structure, and creation of a comprehensive reference framework for Sensors & Meters.
- Translate complex HVAC and automation systems into clear, technically accurate, and didactically well‑structured content.
- Work closely with Product Management, R&D, regional Marketing, and external technical illustrators.
- Ensure consistent technical language, terminology, and messaging across all channels.
- Contribute market, application, and competitive insights to sharpen content and strengthen differentiation.
- Coordinate international content projects in the Sensors & Meters area.
Who You Are
- Completed studies in HVAC, building services engineering, automation, or a comparable technical field.
- Several years of hands‑on experience in the HVAC or building automation industry, for example as an HVAC consultant or application specialist.
- Proven experience in technical writing, creating, or editing technical content.
- Very good system understanding in the areas of sensors, field devices, control technology, hydraulic systems, and ventilation technology.
- Analytical, structured, and highly precise way of working with a strong commitment to technical quality.
- Fluent in German, with very good written and spoken English skills.
