Supplier Quality Engineer - Electronics (80-100 )

Description
As a Supplier Quality Engineer in the electronics sector, you play a key role in ensuring and continuously improving the quality of purchased parts throughout the entire product lifecycle. You lead, support and monitor the supplier APCP process (Advanced Product Quality Planning) for new developments and changes and actively participate in the supplier selection process.

What You\’ll Do

• Management and monitoring of the APQP process at suppliers for new developments and changes
• Participation in the selection and evaluation of suppliers
• Support with the D-FMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and P-FMEA processes, including documentation and follow-up of actions
• Evaluation and approval of inspection equipment (e.g., MSA – Measurement System Analysis) at the supplier
• Planning and execution of process and production approvals at the supplier for components/assemblies
• Execution of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for prototype and change parts
• Review of safe launch concepts and ensuring the series production readiness of components

Who You Are

• Technical education or degree (HF, FH) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering
• In-depth knowledge of SMT, PCB manufacturing, electronics assembly, soldering processes and reliability testing (e.g., HALT/HASS); familiar with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 as well as APQP/PPAP standards and quality tools such as 8D and 5-Why)
• Independent and solution-oriented working style, analytical thinking and a systematic approach
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• English skills at C1 level, German at least B2, as well as intercultural competence
