At Hügli, we ensure that our BI landscape is constantly kept up to date. As a BI Specialist, you are not simply a developer or a traditional controller in this role: you act as the link between Finance & Controlling, Business and IT, and help to rethink reporting and analytics from the ground up.You’ll bring your understanding of financial relationships to the role, translate business requirements into modern BI solutions and implement these independently using technologies such as Power BI, SAP and Microsoft Azure. You’ll work in a project-based manner, have plenty of creative freedom and actively support the further development of our reporting.

We offer flexible working hours on a 4.5 day week, more than 30 days off a year and the option of working remotely one day a week.

• Rethinking reporting: You’ll develop modern reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI and play an active role in shaping our financial reporting process
• Bridging Finance and Controlling: You understand the business requirements of Finance and Controlling and translate these into solutions that promote sustainability
• Developing BI solutions: You will independently design and further develop Power BI reports, data models and complex DAX logic
• Making data usable: You work with SAP data, understand the relevant structures and derive the information required for reporting and analytics from them
• Cloud & Data: You use Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Lake and modern Microsoft Fabric technologies to prepare data for further processing and analysis
• Shaping projects: You will support finance projects in line with our financial roadmap, develop new reporting solutions and coordinate these closely with the business departments
• Driving innovation: You will explore new technologies and AI-driven development and apply them where they create genuine added value for reporting and analytics
• Acting as a liaison: You will work closely with Finance & Controlling, the BI team and the group-wide organisation, taking on an advisory role

What you bring with you

• You have a background in finance or controlling andhave developed your skills in the areas of IT, business intelligence or dataanalytics over the course of your career – alternatively, you have a comparablecombination of business and IT experience
• You have in-depth experience with Power BI andcan independently develop reports, data models and even more complex DAX logic;
• You understand finance and controlling processes and cancomprehend and scrutinise the business requirements behind figures, reports and key performance indicators;and
• You are familiar with SAP data and structures,ideally within the FI/CO environment, and can identify and utilise relevant data for reporting andanalyses
• You have practical experience with Microsoft Azure,in particular Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric or comparablecloud technologies
• You have a good understanding of SQL and data, and have, ideally, already worked with data warehouses, ETL processes or comparable data architectures
• You think analytically and conceptually, canstructure requirements and develop solutions, and already have experiencein carrying out projects
• You have strong communication skills in German and English andare comfortable acting as a liaison between business departments and IT
