Business Controller — Full Country P&L | International Group (100% - M/F)
We are recruiting a Business Controller with Full P&L management, for a leading international group in the retail branch. This is not a back‑office controlling seat. The Controller Switzerland owns
the full P&L of the country's operations
— a rare opportunity to truly understand and influence the business end‑to‑end, not just report on it.
Key Responsibilities Performance Analysis & Reporting
Manage the monthly and year‑end controlling activities and ensure deadlines are met
Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and reliable
Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, and explain key variances
Develop and improve KPIs and management dashboards
Business Partnering
Prepare financial reports that support decision‑making for local management and Group Controlling
Provide financial input on operational and strategic decisions
Help management understand costs, margins, and business performance
Act as a trusted finance partner for the local management team
Work closely with Group Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and other finance teams
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support the annual budget and regular forecasting process
Continuously improve forecasting methods, tools, and processes
Investment & Business Cases
Support Business Development in evaluating new projects and investments
Prepare financial analyses and business cases to support investment decisions
Systems & Processes
Improve controlling processes and reporting quality Support the automation of planning and reporting
Ensure Group Controlling standards are applied consistently
Candidate Profile
Fluent in German, English and ideally knowledge of French
Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
At least 3 years of work experience, ideally in an international company
Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Able to communicate clearly with both finance and non‑finance colleagues
Proactive, hands‑on, and able to work independently
Enjoys working closely with operational teams and being present in the business, not only at headquarters
