Senior Manager (m/f/d) - Design, Modeling & Animation in Bad Bentheim

Your responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, design, modeling, and animation teams, setting priorities, allocating workload, and monitoring delivery against project schedules and budgets.
• Oversee the preparation, review, approval, and issue of technical drawings, engineering schematics, 3D models, animations, and complete project documentation packages.
• Establish and enforce BENTEC drawing standards, CAD protocols, templates, libraries, revision control, and document management processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, procurement, operations, clients, and third parties to capture design intent and manage comments, changes, and approvals.
• Drive the use of optimum design software solutions and collaborate with IT and vendors on licences, upgrades, system performance, and secure file management.
• Mentor team members, support design and HAZOP reviews, resolve discrepancies early, and ensure accurate as-built documentation and project handovers.

Your profile

• HNC, degree, or equivalent industry experience in mechanical or civil engineering, drafting and design technology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least seven years of experience in technical drafting or CAD design within oil and gas, petrochemical, or engineering construction environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading a drafting, design, modeling, or animation team and delivering multidisciplinary drawing packages on complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency in relevant 2D and 3D CAD platforms, with a strong understanding of drawing standards, P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
• Experience with document management systems, drawing registers, revision histories, client submissions, approvals, and final project documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, combined with close attention to technical accuracy and quality.
• Strong English communication skills are essential, and a good command of German would be beneficial.
