Role Description

The Compliance Officer (Digital assets) will oversee and enhance compliance frameworks related to fintech, crypto assets, and blockchain activities within the firm’s client base. This full-time, on-site role in Zurich involves monitoring regulatory developments, assessing their impact on digital asset businesses, and supporting clients in implementing appropriate controls, policies, and procedures. The role includes conducting compliance and risk assessments, performing due diligence (including KYC/KYT for digital asset transactions), reviewing client documentation, and contributing to internal audits and regulatory reporting. The Compliance Officer will collaborate with the other compliance and risk specialists, interact with external stakeholders and supervisory bodies, and help prepare clients for regulatory reviews and inspections. Daily tasks also include drafting and updating guidelines, delivering internal and client‑facing training, and promoting best practices in digital asset compliance and data protection.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, particularly in fintech, crypto assets, and blockchain.
• Robust Analytical Skills for risk assessment, transaction monitoring, and evaluation of digital asset compliance frameworks.
• Effective Communication skills for clear reporting, policy drafting, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery.
• Solid understanding of Finance and financial markets, including AML/CTF principles, KYC/KYT, and tax compliance (e.g., FATCA, CRS).
• Relevant academic background in law, finance, economics, business, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or risk management are an advantage.
• Experience in a compliance, legal, or risk role within financial services, ideally with exposure to Swiss regulation and FINMA requirements.
• Ability to work accurately and independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and integrity.
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (French, German, Italian, or Russian)
• Swiss residency in force is a prerequisite
