The boutique guesthouse Château des Chameaux (opening in October/November 2026) is looking for an experienced Ayurvedic Chef with a strong background in traditional Ayurvedic cuisine and a passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Ayurvedic specialties in accordance with Ayurvedic principles. - Take responsibility for the breakfast service, including Ayurvedic dishes and a high-quality continental breakfast - Prepare daily staff meals - Create and prepare a variety of Ayurvedic and international soups, main courses, and desserts for the evening service at a high culinary standard - Plate and present dishes with creativity and attention to detail - Contribute to the development of seasonal menus and Ayurvedic nutrition concepts - Ensure compliance with all hygiene regulations (HACCP) and maintain the hotel's high quality standards - Manage ordering, receiving, storage, and quality control of food and supplies - Plan and calculate food costs to support the efficient operation of the kitchen - Plan and conduct exclusive Ayurvedic cooking classes and culinary experiences for guests, sharing knowledge of Ayurvedic nutrition and cooking techniques
Your Profile
- Qualified chef and several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy, ideally in a Head Chef position - Experience in Ayurvedic cuisine; knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic cooking - Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients, creativity, and culinary excellence - Independent, reliable, and well-organized working style - Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to high hygiene and quality standards - Team-oriented personality with excellent communication and social skills - Interest in sharing culinary and Ayurvedic knowledge through cooking classes and workshops - Very good command of English; knowledge of German, French is an advantage
