- A. Berger Textiles is seeking an experienced and driven
Finance Manager to lead our Finance function and support the General Manager in ensuring the business meets its strategic and operational objectives.
This role is central to maintaining strong financial governance, driving performance, and supporting cross‑functional teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the financial performance of the Berger Group in collaboration with business leaders.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and present insights to senior management.
- Oversee local HR compliance, policies and procedures.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, banks and legal partners.
- Support the year‑end audit process and manage direct interactions with external auditors.
- Work closely with the planning team to ensure BOMs and routings are accurately created and applied.
- Oversee inventory accounting, including stock monitoring, valuation and saleability.
- Approve credit control decisions and ensure robust financial controls.
- Design, implement and enforce finance and HR policies and procedures.
- Lead ad‑hoc projects such as E‑invoicing.
- Process and pay invoices when required.
- Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting process for A. Berger Textiles.
- Meet all reporting deadlines and maintain zero accounting control deficiencies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of SAGE is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of German employment law.
- Solid HGB knowledge.
- Comprehensive accounting skills from A to Z.
- Experience with E‑invoicing.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
- Agile and adaptable to change.
