The Opportunity
We’re building our freelance designer pool and are looking for an experienced Product Designer for web and mobile projects. This role is for someone with strong UX/UI skills who also brings product thinking, someone who can shape user experiences while considering business goals, product priorities, and technical feasibility.
This is not a full-time role and not tied to an immediate project. We are building a trusted pool of freelance collaborators for future project-based work. If timing and fit align, this can lead to repeated or longer-term collaboration.
Your Mission as a Product Designer
As a freelance Product Designer, you will help define and design digital products from early ideas through to implementation-ready designs. You will combine user-centred design with product thinking to create clear, useful, and well-crafted experiences.
What You Will Be Doing
- Help define problem spaces, user needs, value propositions, and product opportunities for digital products and services
- Design end-to-end user experiences for web and mobile applications, from early concepts and wireframes to polished interfaces
- Contribute to product discovery, user flows, product strategy, prototypes, and final UI
- Support feature definition and prioritisation with a product mindset
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and developers
- Create clear, implementation-ready designs and handoff materials
- Work within or contribute to design systems where needed
We Need You to Have
Must-Haves
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or Senior UX/UI Designer
- Strong portfolio showing web and mobile product work
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to product strategy, prioritisation, and feature definition
- Solid skills in UX, interaction design, UI design, and prototyping
- Ability to think beyond screens and contribute to product decisions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong spoken and written English
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in agency, consulting, or client-facing environments
- Experience with SaaS, enterprise, mobile, or AI-related products
- Workshop or discovery facilitation experience
