Head of Engineering – Berlin
Connecting companies in Berlin and Brandenburg to C/C++ Developers and Electronic Engineers. My client, a key player in power supply and energy technology, is looking for an experienced Product Owner to drive the advancement of the company\’s products in the area of energy grids.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate requirements into clear specifications. You will prioritise and manage work packages while ensuring development results align with the requirements.
- Work closely with project and development teams to plan and execute the next stages of product development.
- Partner with various departments to define and drive the product road-map forward, aligning efforts with long-term goals.
- Create and maintain compelling product presentations and lead internal training sessions to ensure cross-departmental understanding of product features.
- Act as a point of contact for product-specific inquiries, assist with customer specifications, and conduct market research to support the sales and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of hands-on experience in requirements management for energy technology or power electronics products.
- Proficiency in Jira/Confluence (or similar tools) to effectively manage requirements and track progress.
- A genuine interest in energy technology or power electronics and a desire to contribute to its growth.
- Fluent in both German and English. A willingness to travel as needed for the role.
