Job Responsibilities
- Development, optimization, and application of robust and reproducible analysis pipelines for multi-omics datasets, including cytometry, proteomics, and scRNA-seq.
- Collaboration with clinicians, basic researchers, and data scientists involved in research project implementation.
- Processing, visualization, and interpretation of analysis results within a scientific context (a background in immunology research is advantageous).
- Engagement in scientific discussions with consortium investigators, the broader scientific community, and other stakeholders.
- Collaboration with other scientists in our research group concerning omics data analysis.
- Literature review to stay updated on emerging methods, datasets, and discoveries in the field of multi-omics.
- Preparation of R&D reports and scientific publications.
Minimum Requirements
- MSc in Bioinformatics, Natural Sciences, or a related field, with at least two years of full-time practical experience in bioinformatics analysis within a research group in medical life sciences; a relevant PhD is an advantage.
- Strong programming skills in R and/or Python, with experience in handling and analyzing high-dimensional single-cell datasets (scRNA-seq, cytometry).
- Extensive experience in multi-omics analysis and biostatistics.
- Proven experience in research projects within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Track record of publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong project and data management skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
