And here are even more good reasons to opt for BFH What you'll be doing here – You will coordinate and facilitate the successful completion of the Critical Conservation research project and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the successful delivery of all its components – Conduct field research on one of the project's sub-themes, evaluate the results, and translate them into research outputs – Research, write, and publish academic articles in peer-reviewed formats, maintain the project website and deliver other agreed-upon outputs – Contribute to the organization and facilitation of internal and public meetings, as well as other forms of project communication and dissemination targeting academic and professional audiences – Interviews will take place in person on September 23 and 29 in Bern. A detailed description of the role is accessible here What you'll bring with you – A relevant PhD or equivalent in heritage studies, heritage conservation, or a related field, along with a keen interest in the project's research questions – Proven proficiency in independent research, ideally within conservation and critical heritage studies at the intersection of the human sciences – Experience in inter- and transdisciplinary project work, coupled with a high degree of independence – Active engagement in current debates, critical reflection on existing sources, and strong skills in interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork. – A strong publication record at the postdoctoral level, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic; excellent command of academic and spoken English, and proficiency in one of the Swiss national languages, preferably German Apply now Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB) HKB, a department of BFH, is home to the whole gamut of disciplines in art and design.
