This role focuses on translating business requirements into practical system and process solutions, supporting procurement, supplier collaboration, purchasing, sourcing, inventory-related processes, and their integration with ERP and surrounding systems.
The consultant works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, external partners, and vendors to improve end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes. This includes supporting solution design, configuration, testing, rollout, post-go-live support, and continuous improvement initiatives across SAP ERP, SAP Materials Management, SAP ARIBA, or comparable procurement and supply chain platforms.
YOUR TASKS
Project Implementation & Support
- Support the implementation and optimization of supply chain and procurement solutions
- Assist with testing, deployment, and stabilization to ensure successful rollouts
- Analyze and resolve issues while coordinating with business, IT, and external partners
Configuration & Customization
- Configure and support procurement processes in SAP MM, SAP Ariba, and related platforms
- Maintain workflows, master data, supplier processes, and system integrations
- Implement enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and business performance
Stakeholder Collaboration & Training
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and implementation concepts
- Create and deliver training materials, workshops, and user documentation
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, data quality, and operational efficiency
- Support continuous improvement and process standardization initiatives
Integration & Data Management
- Support integrations between procurement platforms and enterprise systems
- Ensure data accuracy, process consistency, and compliance with governance standards
- Investigate interface issues and coordinate resolutions with responsible teams
YOUR PROFILE
Technical & System Expertise
- Possess strong knowledge of procurement, material management, and supply chain processes
- Have hands-on experience with SAP ERP, SAP MM, SAP Ariba, or comparable solutions
- Understand system configuration, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and process support
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into practical solutions
- Troubleshoot technical, process-related, and data-related issues across integrated systems
- Use data analysis and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvements
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Support or manage implementation and optimization projects in cross-functional environments
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners
- Facilitate workshops, provide training, and create clear documentation
Educational Background & Certifications
- Hold a degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
- Relevant SAP certifications in procurement, MM, Ariba, or supply chain solutions are desirable
- Equivalent practical experience in procurement or supply chain environments is valued

- Manage multiple priorities effectively in dynamic project environments
- Communicate fluently in English and take ownership of responsibilities
- Be willing to travel occasionally for business and project requirements
- Be available to support critical project phases and go-live activities when needed
- Remain flexible during periods of increased project or support demands
