The Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) is a member institute of the Leibniz Association. With over 400 employees, it is Germany's largest institution for research, patient care, and teaching in the field of tropical diseases and emerging infections. The research group of Prof. Dr. Thomas D. Otto at BNITM is looking for a Network Coordinator – African Digital One Health Network (ADOHNet) (m/f/d) -0.7 FTE, EG 11 TV-AVH- We are initating the ADOHNet together with African partner institutions – a new network to strengthen data-analysis capacity in infection biology and One Health across sub-Saharan Africa. The network will combine shared compute infrastructure at African partner sites, an annual training school, and a structured postdoctoral fellowship for intensive analytical collaborations with BNITM research groups. As ADOHNet is in its build-up phase, we are looking for an organised and internationally experienced coordinator to play a central role in establishing the network and its structures from Hamburg.
