Was Sie erwartet: We are seeking a skilled Cable Harness Design Engineer (m/w/d) for hydrogen vehicles. You will be responsible for the cable harness design to integrate electronic systems for hydrogen engines. Key Responsibilities: Detailing cables and components, taking functional and installation aspects into account. Developing necessary design documentation. Simulating shapes, dimensions, and tolerances based on design drafts using CAD Developing design modifications to parts according to specifications Definition of wire and cable architecture Performing technical calculations (e.g., weights, lengths, electric resistance, leverage, material utilization, etc.) with Key Values Specifying common components/semi-finished products according to specifications and selecting them based on technical documentation Creating, maintaining, and modifying the 3D wiring harness design, as well as conducting package analyses using the relevant CAD tools based on customer requirements from the early development phase through to series production support. Assisting in adhering to the release cycle and creating change documentation for already released changes. Creating, maintaining, and modifying the release logic for the individual design models (CATIA) as a specification for the customer\’s release department within the project. Create, maintain, and modify cable harness designs using CAD tools (CATIA, Creo Parametric). Utilize software such as Eldorado and E3-Cable for cable harness design and documentation. Was Sie mitbringen: Proven experience in cable harness design for automotive applications. Proficiency in CAD software, specifically CATIA and Creo Parametric. Experience with Eldorado and E3-Cable software. Knowledge of automotive industry standards, testing criteria, and safety regulations. Familiarity with product development processes.
