Functional Safety Manager (ISO 26262)

We are seeking a qualified professional to oversee and coordinate Functional Safety management according to ISO 26262 standards. The role involves managing safety artifacts, moderating and creating work products such as item definitions, safety plans, safety cases, and conducting safety and risk analyses including HARA, FMEA, and FTA.

Responsibilities include conducting FuSi tailoring, process analysis and optimization, influence analyses, and reviews. The candidate will serve as an agile interface to customers, suppliers, and internal project teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a technical field or comparable education with relevant professional experience
• Initial professional experience preferably in automotive development in systems, electronics, or software
• Experience in safety management or reliability, e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, Automotive SPICE
• Knowledge of quality management methods such as ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, e.g., APQP or FMEA moderation is desirable
• Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and an analytical, independent, and goal-oriented working style
• Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
