About the Role
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy, driving both performance marketing for customer acquisition and brand marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Managing a 7-figure budget, the CMO will oversee daily marketing operations, deliver impactful campaigns aligned with brand values, and lead a talented team toward achieving business goals.
Responsibilities
Strategic and Operational Leadership:
Define and execute the marketing vision in line with business objectives and brand values.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI within budget constraints.
Coordinate multi-channel marketing initiatives, including digital, social, email, and PR.
Digital Marketing & E-commerce:
Oversee digital marketing efforts (paid social, SEO, SEM, and email marketing) to drive e-commerce growth.
Optimize customer journeys and conversion rates across digital platforms.
Use data analytics and market research to evaluate and enhance campaign performance.
Brand and Campaign Management:
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all materials and channels.
Lead marketing campaigns and product launches across multiple markets and platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Operations, and Retail) for seamless campaign execution.
Team Leadership & Development:
Manage and mentor a marketing team of nine, fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
Provide leadership and guidance, supporting team members‘ skill development and goal achievement.
Influencer & Partnership Management:
Expand and manage influencer partnerships, focusing on micro- and macro-influencers who align with the brand’s values.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships with like-minded brands and organizations to enhance brand reach and impact.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills:
8+ years of experience in Marketing, with additional experience in commercial or consulting roles considered a plus.
Proven expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce, and performance marketing.
Strong leadership skills with experience in building and developing teams.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for sustainability and lifestyle brands.
