A successful FinTech scale-up transforming SME financial services is seeking an exceptional Staff Engineer to architect and drive our next phase of technical excellence. Location: Germany (Hybrid – Berlin/Frankfurt area)
About the Role
Lead technical architecture across our full-stack ecosystem. Drive engineering excellence and innovation. Shape the future of financial technology for SMEs.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust microservices infrastructure
- Lead development across backend (Python/FastAPI) and frontend (React/TypeScript)
- Drive DevOps excellence with GCP, Kubernetes, and GitLab
- Ensure system reliability and security compliance
- Mentor and guide engineering teams
Qualifications
10+ years comprehensive software engineering experience. Deep expertise in Python, TypeScript, and React Native. Strong background in GCP and Kubernetes. Experience with data infrastructure (BigQuery, Airflow, dbt). Track record of technical leadership. Understanding of FinTech compliance requirements.
